At BKBM Engineers, we believe that our innovative approach to engineering design allows us to present our credentials not only in terms of type and number of prior structures designed, but more importantly in terms of having the special skills and abilities to approach every project as an opportunity. This enables us to review and incorporate into the project the latest proven technology in design and construction for the long-term benefit of the client.
BKBM's initial involvement begins with meeting all the team members, which may include Board members; owner selected contractors; city, county, and state officials who are involved in the permitting process and financial agencies involved with the project. It is critical that we understand what the "big picture" is, not our view, but the client's view. BKBM then can define, more closely, our scope of work.
Once we establish the Scope of Services, BKBM begins work for the client. The work may begin by preparing permit documents for the necessary building and environmental permits. Our engineers have the experience in working with city, county, and state officials to expedite this process as rapidly as possible.
