Crescent Ridge Corporate Center

Office Buildings

Crescent Ridge Corporate Center was created to meet the high demands for office space in the business community. This twin-tower complex was constructed in two-phases with a total of 550,000 square feet. Phase 1 is 8-stories and Phase 2 building is 9-stories. The floors are composite slab/beams. The lateral system is chevron and diagonally braced frames. Exterior envelope was accomplished primarily with precast spandrels spanning between columns and curtain wall infill.

Parking Ramps

The parking ramp for Phase 1 consists of 525 stalls. The structure is bituminous pavement and one supported level comprised of precast double tees, beams, and columns. The foundation system is conventional spread footings. Foundation walls retain one-story of soil along the west side. The ramp for Phase 2 consists of 647 stalls. The ramp superstructure is similar to the Phase 1 parking ramp. Due to variable soils, this ramp is supported on concrete filled steel pipe piles.

Skyways

Aesthetic qualities dictated the use of steel vierendel trusses to connect the buildings and ramps. Phase I is a two span truss, Phase II was accomplished with a 120' clean span.
